APPLIED ETHICS/BECOMING AN EXEMPLARY PEACE OFFICER

The services performed as a peace officer are critical to the well-being of the community. Officers must be qualified in terms of character and commitment to perform a wide range of vital tasks. This course strengthens character and helps students develop the knowledge, abilities, and skills that will allow them to be exemplary peace officers. It details the six pillars of character, defines ethics and values, and demonstrates the importance of exemplary decision making. Both new officers and veterans will benefit from this refresher course on the importance of good character.

Each online course is developed from an 8-hour classroom-based curriculum. The average length of our online courses is 90 to 120 minutes.
